It was bigger than I thought, and it didn't look like it would fit comfortably. It was light, and felt like it might be of poor quality. I'm happy to report, that I was absolutely wrong.This bag has proven itself INVALUABLE! I bike a lot and this thing effectively sticks to my back. I keep my laptop in it, and it is padded enough such that I don't even feel that it's there. The bag IS light, but very durable. It is big, and I'm thankful for it. I can't believe how much it stores. I go grocery shopping with this thing, and cannot believe how much I can fit in it. Anyway, I'll stop waxing gloriously about the bag now and leave it at this... Absolutely perfect. It has lots of pockets and areas to store things in addition to the laptop. The laptop fits snug and secure within the bag. The strap is comfortable, the top closes securely, and everything stays in place. It even comes with interchangeable straps so you can personalize the bag a bit by changing the colors of the closures. The only complaint I have about this bag is that Osprey makes two types of laptop bags, the flapjack and the flapjane. The flapjane comes in different colors and has embroidery on it for a feminine flare which looks lovely and tasteful, but apparently girls only carry 15" laptops. The flapjack comes in more masculine colors (and has a masculine name) and fits 17" laptops. I am a girl, that likes tasteful feminine details and I use a 17" laptop. I needed a replacement for my old and trusted leather briefcase. The flapjack fit the bill. I don't worry that the strap will break or that important documents will be creased by the laptop. The bag is well laid out and very comfortable to carry. I would have liked for the handle to be larger. Great computer bag! |
